ART IN THE PARK

Peters Valley Creative Kids Art Camp is a unique program which exposes children to art and nature within the natural beauty of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

Guided by certified teachers and art world professionals, young artists immerse themselves in the process of creating both individual and group prepared masterpieces.

Exposure to an eclectic mix of artistic mediums, different each session, keeps interest and enthusiasm high!

Partnerships with working artists and with the National Park Service allow our teachers to develop one-of-a-kind projects for your child.

Dates:
Session 1 (July 5 – 9, 2010)
Session 2 (July 12 – 16, 2010)
Session 3 (July 19 – 23, 2010)
Session 4 (July 26 – 30, 2010)
Session 5 (August 2 – 6, 2010)
Session 6 (August 9 - 13, 2010)

Who is eligible to participate?
The program is open to those entering grades One through Ten. Age appropriate grouping will be based on enrollment and projects!

When:
Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm After Care available for an additional fee from 3:00pm - 6:00pm

Where:
WEEC Building (Walpack Environmental Education Center) 3 miles south of Peters Valley on NPS Route 615

Cost:
$175 first week
$160 additional weeks
$15 off siblings

Food:
No food or drink is provided. Students must bring their own lunch, drinks and snacks.

Refrigeration is available. We en-courage reusable containers!

Attire:
Send children in clothing and shoes you wont mind getting dirty.

The WEEC facility is located in a wooded area. The area is naturally inhabited by ticks, mosquitoes and other insects! Bug repellent and sunscreen are encouraged.

Sneakers socks, and comfortable pants, shorts and tops are appropriate. Sandals, flip flops or other open toe shoes are not appropriate.

Cancellation Policy:
Except for a $25 cancellation fee, all fees are refundable if notice is given at least 14 days in advance of the session. No refunds will be made after that date. There will be no make-ups for missed days.
